1. What we collect
When you request a quote, contact us or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the details you provide — name, email, phone, shipment origins and destinations, and message content. We also store a currency preference in your browser when you change it.
2. How we use it
Your details are used to prepare quotes, arrange shipments, respond to enquiries and — only with your consent — send the newsletter. We never sell personal information and never use it for unrelated marketing.
3. Newsletter consent
The newsletter checkbox in our footer is opt-in. Every edition includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all newsletter mail while leaving your quote and shipment history untouched.
4. Who sees your data
Shipment details are shared with the carriers, warehouses and customs brokers needed to move your freight — nothing more. All partners operate under confidentiality terms, and payment processing (when connected) is handled by regulated providers.
5. How long we keep it
Quote and shipment records are kept for seven years to meet transport and tax record requirements. Newsletter subscriptions persist until you unsubscribe, and general enquiries are deleted after two years of inactivity.
6. Your rights
You may ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information at any time by writing to hello@swifthaul.com. We respond to every request within 30 days.
7. Security
Forms are transmitted over encrypted connections and dashboard access is limited to trained coordinators.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new revision date and, for newsletter subscribers, mention it in the next edition.
